    DHS announces new northern border strategy that will (1) enhance border security operations by improving organization and information sharing across borders and with local and tribal partners, (2) facilitate and safeguard lawful trade and travel by enhancing collaboration across the border, promoting Trusted Traveler program, improving facilities and infrastructure, and (3) promote cross-border resilience by enhancing multi-sectoral, cross-border communication to facilitate recovery operations and increasing the security of infrastructure.
