May 5, 2025The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has requested comments by June 4, 2025 on the proposed Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) Biometric Technology Assessments information collection. The assessments would contract with partners to conduct studies comparing the performance and potential future implementation of biometric sensors that can capture finger, face, iris, and other data.
