DOJ and DOL warn H-1B employers not to discriminate against U.S. workers

    DOJ announces that it "will not tolerate employers misusing the H-1B visa process to discriminate against U.S. workers" and will vigorously investigate and prosecute any violations of this policy. The Civil Rights Division warns that employers violate the INA's anti-discrimination provisions if they have a discriminatory hiring preference that favors H-1B visa holders over U.S. workers.
