April 13, 2017Employers providing three meals a day to H-2A workers in occupations other than range herding may charge workers for such meals, but the job offer must state the charge. DOL set the maximum travel subsistence and meal reimbursement that a worker with receipts may claim in 2017 under H-2A and H-2B, and DOL reminds employers of obligations with respect to overnight lodging costs.
