DOS announces "one-strike policy: Catch-and-Revoke"

    Secretary of State Rubio announced -- in a DOS newsletter -- a “one-strike policy: Catch-and-Revoke,” stating that “[w]henever the government catches non-U.S. citizens breaking our laws, we will take action to revoke their status.” Rubio states this policy will extend to students who have “supported terrorists or otherwise abused our hospitality,” as well as immigrants convicted of crimes such as domestic violence and assault.
