EO 14201 §4(c): POTUS Orders DOS and DHS to Review Entry of Transgender Athletes

    President Trump signed Executive Order 14201, "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports," which restricts the participation of transgender athletes in women's sports.

    Section 4(c) specifically instructs the Secretaries of State and DHS to "review and adjust, as needed, policies permitting admission to the United States of males seeking to participate in women’s sports." It also requires the secretaries to issue updated guidance for agency officials "with an objective of preventing such entry to the extent permitted by law, including pursuant to section 212(a)(6)(C)(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(6)(C)(i))."
