March 19, 2018DHS issues notice of proposed modification and reissuance of the DHS/ICE-013 Alien Health Records System system of records. This system of records covers medical, mental health, and dental records that document the medical screening, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of noncitizens whom ICE detains in facilities where the ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) provides or oversees the provision of medical care. DHS is modifying this system of records to add two new routine uses that will allow ICE to share information from the Alien Health Records system of records with additional recipients for specified purposes. DHS is also updating the database to include a new IHSC Portal, whereby individuals discharged from ICE facilities can log in and get a copy of their electronic medical record. [ID #874]
