April 29, 2025The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) published a notice and request for comments on a new form, the Individualized Section 504 Service Plan (Form S-25), that would allow the Unaccompanied Children Bureau to provide services to unaccompanied children identified as having a disability. The ORR states that the proposed information collection is necessary to allow the ORR to comply with a settlement agreement reached in Lucas R. v. Becerra, No. 2:18-cv-05741 (C.D. Cal.). As part of the settlement agreement, ORR is required to develop and implement individualized Section 504 service plans for any child identified as having a disability.
Comments are due by May 29, 2025.
