Release of Unaccompanied Alien Children From ORR Custody - Extension Request
On December 18, 2020, ORR requested to continue the information collection related to the processing of unaccompanied minors released from ORR custody and providing services after release. The information collection was originally approved for emergency use for six months.
The forms included in the information collection are:
- Discharge Notification (Form R-2)
- Notice to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Chief Counsel—Release of Unaccompanied Alien Child to Sponsor and Request to Change Address (Form R-3)
- Release Request (Form R-4)
- Safety and Well-Being Follow-Up Call Report (Form R-6)

The proposal would revise all four currently approved forms and reinstate one previously approved form. Comments will be accepted for 60 days.
