POTUS's deferred resignation offer to federal employees will not apply to immigration enforcement and national security employees

    In response to several of President Trump's directives regarding the federal workforce, an email was sent to federal employees presenting a deferred resignation offer. If federal employees do not wish to adhere to the policies of the "reformed federal workforce," including a return to physical offices five days a week, new "performance standards," a "more streamlined and flexible workforce," and "enhanced standards of conduct," they may accept the deferred resignation offer. The deferred resignation offer is not available to immigration enforcement and national security employees.
