  1. Original Date Announced

    February 23, 2026

President Trump issued Proclamation 11013, designating February 22, 2026 as "National Angel Family Day" to "remember and honor the thousands of American lives stolen from us by criminal illegal aliens and the deadly drugs they bring across our borders." The date marks the second anniversary of the murder of Laken Riley by a Venezuelan national who was unlawfully present in the United States.
