ACIJ directs NYC IJs to complete family cases within 365 days

    According to leaked emails obtained by the Center for Investigative Reporting, the New York City Assistant Chief Immigration Judge (ACIJ) directed IJs to complete family unit (FAMU) cases on a specific timetable and within one year.
