Trump Administration designates ICE a "security/sensitive" agency

    A leaked internal ICE memo reported in The Nation announces that, as of June 11, 2020, OPM has approved ICE's request to be designated a "security/sensitive" agency for FOIA purposes. This designation grants ICE greater secrecy by exempting all employment records (including name, job title, grade level, position description, duty station, and salary) from disclosure to the public. The report includes a copy of the memo.
