May 16, 2019Under the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2003, and other authorities, Congress determines that the Palestine Liberation Organization and Palestinian Authority have not complied with certain commitments. Consequently, the State Department imposes the sanction set out in FRAA, FY 2003, section 604(a)(1), “Denial of Visas to PLO and Palestinian Authority Officials,” and also “determine[s] that it is in the national security interest of the United States to waive this sanction.” [ID #759]
