Agreement Between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador for Cooperation in the Examination of Protection Claims
The United States and El Salvador signed a cooperative agreement that would transfer asylum seekers who are not nationals or residents of El Salvador to El Salvador in order to seek asylum there. According to U.S. officials cited in news reports, the policy applies to refugees who passed through El Salvador en route to the United States. View Document
