USCIS increases premium processing fee for applications postmarked after October 1, 2018

    USCIS increases the premium processing fee from $1,225 to $1,410, which is in addition to a base filing fee. This voluntary fee is to ensure that the application will be adjudicated in 15 business days. Premium processing is currently authorized for petitioners seeking visas in certain employment-based classifications. [ID #521]

    2023.12.28 Adjustment to Premium Processing Fees

    DHS issued a final rule increasing premium processing fees charged by USCIS to reflect inflation from June 2021 to June 2023. The adjustment increases premium processing fees from $1,500 to $1,685, $1,750 to $1,965, and from $2,500 to $2,805, depending on the relevant form. This rule will be effective as of February 26, 2024.
