October 4, 2017USCIS has issued a new edition of Form I-765, used for employment authorization document (EAD) applications, which allows qualifying foreign nationals to apply for their Social Security number (SSN) or replacement Social Security card simultaneously with EAD. Eligible non-citizens no longer need to apply in person for a Social Security number. [ID #482]
