CDC proposes revisions to tuberculosis information collection from U.S. panel physicians

  1. Original Date Announced

    May 29, 2018

The CDC invites comment on proposed revisions to an information collection titled Information Collection for Tuberculosis Data from Panel Physicians, which collects TB data gathered during overseas immigration medical exams. Among the proposed revisions include a reduction in the estimated annual burden by 1,640 hours per year and a reduction in the number of respondents by 17. Reductions are due to revised estimates on burden time per response, and the removal of four variables from the data collection form and improved IT capacity at most panel sites. [ID #889]
