DHS extends employment authorization for Nepali F-1 nonimmigrant students for one year

    DHS announces a one-year extension of work authorization for Nepali F-1 nonimmigrant students experiencing severe economic hardship relating to the April 25, 2015 earthquake. The policy suspends certain regulatory requirements, allowing Nepali students to work an increased number of hours while school is in session, provided they maintain a full courseload. [ID #725]
