DHS gives notice of modifying the Alien Criminal Response Information Management System of Records to add UAC sponsors/household members

    DHS notice of proposed modification and renaming of the "DHS/ICE-007 Alien Criminal Response Information Management (ACRIMe)" system of records. This system of records allows DHS to receive and respond to criminal history and immigration status inquiries made by federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and other federal agencies. The name of the system of records will now be "Criminal History and Immigration Verification (CHIVe)." This update also adds a new category of individuals to the system of records: namely, individuals seeking approval from HHS to sponsor an unaccompanied minor and other adult members of potential sponsors' households.
