DHS is implementing a final rule to modify its regulations, exempting parts of the updated and reissued "Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement-007 Criminal History and Immigration Verification (CHIVe) System of Records" from specific provisions of the Privacy Act. This exemption is due to the requirements for criminal, civil, and administrative enforcement.
