DOJ plans to expand AG certification authority

    DOJ announces its plan to expand the population of cases that the AG may certify for review, including cases that are still pending before the BIA and cases that have never been appealed to the BIA. This change would remove the current restriction that the AG may only certify cases that have been decided by the BIA.
