DOS issues vetting standards for countries under EO 13780 Travel Ban

    DOS issues a cable discussing the information it will require from each country to sufficiently vet nationals seeking a visa or other immigration benefit under Executive Order 13780. The cable is based on a report produced by the State Department in consultation with the Department of Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence. The report contains a classified list of countries preliminarily deemed as not meeting the required standards. [ID #689]
