La Nación has documented a sexual-harassment investigation of current Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves during his presidential campaign. As Chaves has now become an ally to President Trump, analysts consider the decision to fits into a larger White House strategy to punish critical media and reward its allies abroad.
