EOIR begins accepting digital and electronic signatures

    As announced in Policy Memo 20-11, as of March 31, 2020, EOIR is accepting digital and electronic signatures on documents filed with an immigration court or the BIA, regardless of whether the document is filed by mail, in person, or electronically. Also, EOIR is now accepting electronically-reproduced copies of documents containing digital, electronic, or "wet" signatures (i.e., ink signatures). EOIR will still accept documents containing the traditional ink signatures.
