    BuzzFeed reports that on March 4, 2021 ICE Acting Director Tae Johnson sent an email rescinding the policy “effective immediately . . . [to] prevent the loss of procedural and legal safeguards created by Congress that were designed to keep [unaccompanied immigrant children] safe.”
