The New York Times reports that the United States sent a deportation flight to Venezuela with 147 Venezuelan nationals on August 3, 2026. It was the first removal flight to Venezuela after officials paused the flights in late June, after a series of earthquakes killed over 5,500 people. DHS would not confirm if the plane's arrival meant the official resumption of removal flights.
