Temporary Protected Status for El Salvador continues until further notice

    After the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) failed to publish any notice in the Federal Register regarding any decision concerning extension, termination, or redesignation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for El Salvador, USCIS posted an alert on its website that "[a]n announcement on El Salvador's TPS will be made at the appropriate time." Pending such announcement, TPS protections and work authorization for Salvadoran TPS holders will remain valid.
