May 5, 2025The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has requested comments on the proposed Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM) Biometric Technology Assessments information collection. The assessments would contract with partners to conduct studies comparing the performance and potential future implementation of advancing biometric sensors that can capture finger, face, iris, and other data.
Comments will be accepted until June 4, 2025.
