USCIS proposes revisions to Form I-192 for T or U visa applicants

    USCIS seeks comment on proposed revisions to Form I-192, Application for Advance Permission to Enter as a Nonimmigrant. Form I-192 is utilized to apply for advance permission to temporarily enter the U.S. for individuals who are an inadmissible nonimmigrant and already have the appropriate documents; or applicants for T or U nonimmigrant status. The proposed revisions are substantive in nature, including a new question about employment history for the past five years, questions about the applicant's parents, and questions about the applicant's marital history, among other revisions.
