The information will be used by USCIS to determine whether a person is eligible to obtain original documents contained in a noncitizen file. The proposed changes are predominantly non-substantive. Among other things, USCIS has requested additional information regarding interpreters and preparers and now indicates on the form instructions that applicants must have a U.S. address to file a request.
