USCIS offers grants to support citizenship preparation

    USCIS makes available $10 millon in grants to fund organizations conducting programs for lawful permanent residents seeking to naturalize. One program would fund up to 36 organizations that offer both citizenship instructions and assistance in completing naturalization applications. Another program funds four organizations provides services to former refugees and asylees who are now permanent residents seeking to increase their knowledge of English, U.S. history and civics to naturalize.
