    USCIS seeks comments on proposed revisions to Form G-845, Document Verification Request and Supplement. This form allows agencies to verify a benefit applicant's immigration status by inputting identifying information into the Verification Information System (VIS). If the individual's VIS record cannot be located, USCIS may require the individual to fill out Form G-845. [ID #913]

      The revisions to Form G-685 that were proposed in 2018 were never submitted to OMB for approval. Subsequently, on August 18, 2020, USCIS released a new requests for comments on proposed revisions to Form G-845 and provided a 60 day comment period.
