This form allows agencies to verify a benefit applicant's immigration status by inputting identifying information into the Verification Information System (VIS). Federal Register Notice: USCIS request for comments on proposed revision of Form G-845
The revisions to Form G-685 that were proposed in 2018 were never submitted to OMB for approval. Subsequently, on August 18, 2020, USCIS released a new requests for comments on proposed revisions to Form G-845 and provided a 60 day comment period.
